On Wednesday, the Delhi High Court told the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) to change the marksheets and publish a new list of selected candidates. This decision came after many students complained that some questions in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) were wrong. Some students also challenged the results for the postgraduate (PG) courses.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court moved all complaints about the 2025 CLAT results from different high courts to the Delhi High Court to make sure everything was handled the same way.
On December 20, 2024, a judge of the Delhi High Court had told the consortium to fix the CLAT-2025 results because of mistakes in the answer key. Students wanted some questions to be marked differently after the consortium published the answer key on December 7, 2024. While some students did not agree with the judge’s decision, the consortium also disagreed with the ruling.
The CLAT 2025 exam, which allows students to get into a five-year LLB program at national law universities, took place on December 1, and the results were announced on December 7, 2024.
