Tom Welling, the actor famous for playing Clark Kent in the TV show Smallville, was arrested for driving under the influence (DUI) this week. The 47-year-old star, who also appeared in the Cheaper by the Dozen movies with Steve Martin, was stopped by police in an Arby’s parking lot in Yreka, California, just after midnight on Monday.
Law enforcement officers say Tom’s blood alcohol level was above 0.08%, which is over the legal limit. His mugshot has been shared by the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office.
This incident comes right after Tom celebrated his wife Jessica Rose Lee’s birthday on Instagram. On Sunday, he posted a sweet message saying, “Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more! We love you to the moon and back!”
