Triptii Dimri became very popular after her role in the movie “Animal” directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. After the film’s success, fans started calling her the “national crush.” However, her co-star from the movie “Bulbbul,” Parambrata Chatterjee, shared his thoughts on this nickname during an interview with SCREEN.
In a quick question and answer segment, Parambrata was asked to rank his female co-stars based on their talent. He placed Triptii at the bottom of the list, saying that Vidya Balan is the most talented. He said, “National crushes are just temporary, but true talent lasts forever.” He also teased Triptii by jokingly calling her “Bhabhi 2.”
Parambrata pointed out that while Triptii is nice and lovely, she still has a long way to go in her career. He praised Vidya Balan, saying she is in a different league when it comes to acting.
Parambrata has appeared in Hindi films like “Kahaani,” which was a big hit, and has worked with stars like Anushka Sharma and Triptii Dimri. He is currently promoting his latest movie called “Shotyi Bole Shotyi Kichhu Nei,” which is an adaptation of the famous movie “12 Angry Men.”
As for Triptii, she will be starring in Vishal Bhardwaj’s next film called “Arjun Ustara,” where she will act alongside actors like Shahid Kapoor and Nana Patekar. This film will take place in the underworld after India gained independence and is set to release in 2026.
