Joe Rogan, the famous podcaster, recently shared his thoughts about politics. Even though he supported Donald Trump during the presidential race and visited his inauguration, Rogan said he does not belong to any political party. “I don’t think of myself as a Republican or a Democrat. I think of myself as an American,” he said on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast.
He pointed out that the Democratic Party has many ideas that make sense to him, but he also supports some of the Republican Party’s views. Rogan mentioned that ignoring good ideas just because they come from the “wrong team” is not smart.
He found Trump’s inauguration strange and criticized people who are only loyal to one political party. These comments upset many people online, with some accusing Rogan of being hypocritical for backing Trump while claiming he doesn’t choose sides.
One user on X asked, “He endorsed Trump. How is that not picking a side?” Another commented on how Rogan’s views changed after he got COVID and expressed regret about that transformation. During the 2024 election campaign, Trump appeared on Rogan’s show, hoping to reach young male voters.
The conversation was friendly, but Rogan joked when Trump struggled to explain how Biden allegedly stole the 2020 election.
