Mumbai fans can’t wait for the third season of “The Family Man”! Actor Priyamani shared that this new season will be a thrilling “roller coaster ride”. In the upcoming season, Manoj Bajpayee’s character, Srikant, will face serious threats to the country’s safety while trying hard to fix his relationship with his wife, Suchitra, played by Priyamani.
Priyamani expressed her excitement and nervousness about the new season. “I hope this season is just as good as the last ones. Get ready for surprises!” she told PTI at a recent event celebrating director Mani Ratnam’s work.
The action series was created by Suman Kumar and Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK, and filming just wrapped up. It will be released later this year. The first season came out in 2019 and was a big hit, and the second season, which featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu, was also praised when it premiered in 2021.
At the event, Priyamani fondly recalled working with famous director Mani Ratnam on his film “Raavanan” and its Hindi version, “Raavan”. She said, “If Mani sir calls, I’d do anything to be in his film!” She shared how he guided her in her role, encouraging her to act naturally rather than dramatically.
Priyamani is also excited to start filming for a new movie called “Jana Nayagan” starring Tamil superstar Vijay, along with Bobby Deol and Pooja Hegde.
