On Saturday, Congress leader Udit Raj criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and labeled it as the “B-team” of the BJP, India’s ruling party. He raised concerns about AAP’s leader, Arvind Kejriwal, and questioned why he remained silent about recent attacks on minorities in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh. Udit Raj stated that this shows AAP doesn’t really support the INDIA alliance and called Kejriwal a communal person who doesn’t represent the values of that alliance.

He mentioned, “To fight big threats, sometimes we have to compromise.” He explained that keeping AAP in the INDIA alliance was necessary to protect India’s Constitution and democracy.

Earlier, Congress leader Ajay Maken also accused Kejriwal of being involved in a massive health scam worth Rs 382 crore. Maken pointed out that there are reports from the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) that suggest Kejriwal, who once focused on fighting corruption, is now himself facing serious corruption claims.

The upcoming Delhi Assembly elections are planned for February 5, with votes being counted on February 8. A total of 699 candidates are competing for 70 seats in Delhi’s assembly. In the past two elections, AAP won a majority, while Congress has struggled to win any seats.
