In his first TV interview after starting his second term, President Donald Trump spoke with Sean Hannity from Fox News. Trump criticized former President Joe Biden for making poor choices, especially about pardoning people. When Hannity tried to talk about the economy, Trump interrupted him, saying, “I don’t care.” He explained that the economy would be fine because he was back in charge, but he thought Biden had really bad advisors.
Trump said Biden made a big mistake by not pardoning himself, unlike others he pardoned. He pointed out this issue should be more talked about. He even suggested that Congress, led by Speaker Mike Johnson, might look into how Biden used pardons. When asked if he would involve his attorney general, Trump said, “I was always against that with presidents.”
At 78 years old, Trump talked about his tough legal battles, saying he spent a lot of money defending himself but still won. He didn’t hold back when discussing FEMA, the agency that helps during disasters. Trump claimed it complicates things, and he praised how Oklahoma handles disaster relief instead.
Finally, Trump promised to release secret files about the JFK and RFK assassinations, saying, “I’m going to release them immediately.” He remembered that people like Mike Pompeo told him not to do it before.
