The Traffic Police have made some important changes to how cars can move in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). This is because there is a lot of traffic, and they want to help everyone get around more easily. These changes will be in place from January 21 until April 20.
What’s Going on?
– No Entry on Avenue 3 Road: Cars cannot go on Avenue 3 Road from the place near the WeWork building to the BKC Connector Junction. This part will be closed for vehicles.
– Alternative Route: If you’re on Avenue 3 Road, you can turn left where the WeWork building is, then take a right at the back of the WeWork building. Drive under the BKC Connector bridge to get to MMRDA Ground, and then continue on from NSE Junction to get to your destination.
Other Traffic Updates
– Mumbai-Pune Expressway: If you’re traveling on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, there will also be some delays from January 22 to 24. During this time, construction workers will be adding girders for a new bridge in Dongargaon and Kusgaon. Expect traffic changes between noon and 3 PM during these days.
What the Traffic Police Say
The Traffic Police have noticed that more cars are filling the streets of BKC, causing a lot of jams. They’re hoping these new traffic rules will help everyone move more smoothly.
They suggest you plan extra time for your trips while everyone gets used to these new routes. BKC is a busy area with lots of offices and easy access to public transportation, but recent construction, like the Mumbai Metro and Bullet Train, has made things tougher for drivers.
