Actor Nivin Pauly shared his recent tough times at the Gokulam Night event in Nilambur, Kerala. He thanked everyone who supported him during these difficult days.
Nivin talked about some legal problems he faced, including serious allegations but chose not to go into too much detail. He mentioned, “Everyone knows about the issues I’ve been through. After that, I stayed away from public events. Gopalan chettan is like an older brother and a guide to me. That’s why I hurried back when he invited me here.”
The actor expressed his gratitude, saying, “During my tough times, many people stood by me. I didn’t get a chance to thank you all, and this stage is for that. I promise to return with good movies this year, and I hope for your continued love and support.”
In September 2024, a 40-year-old woman accused Nivin and five others of assaulting her in Dubai. However, a special police team later found no evidence against him and cleared his name. Nivin had previously denied the charges and expressed deep thanks to his supporters after being released from suspicion.
Looking ahead, Nivin is excited to work with Gopalan again on a new film after their previous collaboration in 2018’s Kayamkulam Kochunni. He will also appear in projects like Dear Students, Shekhara Varma Rajavu, a sequel to Action Hero Biju, and a Tamil film called Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai. Additionally, he will make his OTT debut in the Disney+ Hotstar web series Pharma.
