The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to hold the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 1 starting on January 22, 2025. Paper 1 will be conducted on January 22, 23, 24, 28, and 29, while Paper 2 will take place on January 30, 2025.
If you’re taking the exam soon, here are some important tips you should follow:
– Arrive Early: Make sure you reach the exam center at least 2 hours before your exam starts. This way, you won’t miss any important announcements or instructions.
– Take Your Seat: When you enter the exam hall, sit at the seat assigned to you. If you don’t sit in your designated spot, you could be disqualified from the exam.
– Bring Your Documents: You must bring your printed JEE Main admit card downloaded from the NTA website, along with a valid photo ID (like a driver’s license or school ID). Without these, you won’t be allowed to take the exam.
– Check Your Paper: Make sure the question paper on your computer matches the subject you registered for. If it doesn’t, tell the invigilator right away!
– Ask for Help: If you need technical help or first aid during the exam, don’t hesitate to ask the invigilator.
What You Should Bring:
– Your printed JEE Main admit card and Self Declaration form.
– One passport-size photo (the same one you uploaded with your application).
– One valid photo ID.
– If you’re claiming a disability (PwD/PwBD), bring your certificate.
– A simple ballpoint pen.
Remember, the JEE Main is for students who want to get into engineering (BE/BTech) or architecture (BArch/BPlanning) courses. Paper 1 will be held in two shifts: from 9 AM to 12 PM and from 3 PM to 6 PM. Paper 2 will take place from 3 PM to 6:30 PM.
