The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has opened registrations for new undergraduate courses at its Abu Dhabi campus for the academic year 2025-26. This is the second round of admissions since the campus opened in January 2024. Programs Available
Starting in August 2025, students can apply for three Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) courses:
1. Computer Science and Engineering
2. Energy Science and Engineering
3. Chemical Engineering

Admission Process
Students can get into these 4-year programs in two main ways:
1. JEE (Advanced) 2025: Indian students need to take this exam and apply through the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
2. Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025: This entrance exam will happen in two parts:
– Session 1: February 16, 2025
– Session 2: April 13, 2025
Seat Distribution:
– One-third of the spots are for JEE Advanced winners.
– Two-thirds are for CAET 2025 takers.
CAET 2025 is a 3-hour written test in English with 60 questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. It will be held in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Sharjah in the UAE, as well as in New Delhi, India. Students can take both sessions; their best score will be used for final selection. Top performers in Session 1 will receive early admission offers.
Eligibility: The CAET 2025 is open to UAE nationals and international students, including Indian expatriates who have completed their high school and five years of education in the UAE.
