Delta Corp, a gaming and hospitality company, announced its financial results for the December quarter. They had a small profit increase of 3.6%, earning ₹35.73 crore compared to ₹34.48 crore during the same time last year. However, their revenue from operations fell by 7.5%, totaling ₹194.33 crore, down from ₹210.13 crore last year.
On a positive note, Delta Corp’s net profit rose sharply by 32.4% compared to the previous quarter (Q2 FY25), which was ₹26.98 crore. Their earnings grew 3.6% from the ₹187.65 crore revenue in July-September.
Despite the good news, Delta Corp’s stock price fell sharply today, closing at ₹109.88, down 7.61% or ₹9.05 from Friday’s close.
Looking at the first nine months of the financial year, Delta Corp reported a net profit of ₹84.39 crore, which is a significant drop of 51% from ₹171.83 crore last year. Their total sales for this period were ₹562.63 crore, down 23% from ₹730.49 crore in FY24.
Delta Corp’s total expenses also increased to ₹177.64 crore in Q3, up from ₹169.24 crore in the previous quarter. This includes costs for materials, employee salaries, and other expenses.
