Not long after arriving, the police got a call that he had fallen from the building. Tapas’ body is now with the doctors for a post-mortem, which is a test to find out how he died. The police are talking to his friends to see if it was an accident or something else. The Noida Police confirmed they have informed Tapas’ family and are looking into all possibilities regarding his death. They also said they will take more steps if Tapas’ family files a complaint.
Past Falls from High-Rises
This isn’t the first time someone has fallen from a tall building in this area. In November 2024, a 13-year-old boy fell from the 14th floor of a building in Greater Noida West. The police said that it seemed like an accident and the boy was in Class 7.
Earlier in March 2024, an 18-year-old girl fell from the 18th floor while watering plants on her balcony. Sadly, she died in that accident as well. She was a Class 12 student.
In June 2023, a 21-year-old student fell from the eighth floor of his parents’ flat in Noida. He was studying engineering in Mathura, and the police suspected it could have been suicide.
The police are working hard to find out what really happened to Tapas.
