Ayodhya is buzzing with excitement as the city prepares to celebrate one year since the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of the Ram Temple! Although the special ceremony happened on January 22, 2024, the first anniversary will be celebrated on January 11, 2025.
Why January 11?
The temple trust explained that Hindu festivals follow the Hindu calendar. The Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place on Paush Shukla Paksha Dwadashi, also called Kurma Dwadashi. In 2025, this meaningful date lands on January 11. That’s why the anniversary celebration will be on this day.
The trust shared on X that after talking with saints, they decided to stick to tradition. They will celebrate the anniversary of Pran Pratishtha for Prabhu Shri Ramlalla Sarkar every year on this specific date. In 2025, this special day will be called ‘Pratishtha Dwadashi.’
