The government will hold an important meeting on Thursday to discuss the success of Operation Sindoor, which happened after the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. This is the second meeting in two weeks, as tensions are rising between India and Pakistan.
Top government leaders like Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, S. Jaishankar, J. P. Nadda, and Nirmala Sitharaman will be there. From the opposition, well-known figures such as Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge from Congress, Sandip Bandyopadhyay from Trinamool Congress, and T.R. Baalu from DMK will attend. Rajnath Singh will lead this meeting.
In addition, leaders like Ram Gopal Yadav from the Samajwadi Party, Sanjay Singh from AAP, Sanjay Raut from Shiv Sena (UBT), Supriya Sule from NCP (SP), Sasmit Patra from BJD, and John Brittas from CPI(M) will join. JD(U) leader Sanjay Jha, Chirag Paswan from LJP (Ram Vilas), and AIMIM MP Asaduddin Owaisi will also be present.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that the government wants to update all parties about Operation Sindoor. This operation involved missile strikes on Wednesday, targeting nine locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir that were linked to groups behind the Pahalgam attack. This military action came two weeks after the tragic killing of 26 civilians in Pahalgam.
