Charlie Cox’s Hilarious Disney+ Mix-Up with His Parents!

Actor Charlie Cox recently shared a funny story about a time he tried to help his parents watch his new show, “Daredevil: Born Again,” on Disney+. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he explained that showing them how to use the streaming service was quite the challenge since he doesn’t live with them.

Charlie began by giving them instructions over FaceTime but ended up in a comedy of mistakes. After helping them set up their Disney+ account, he asked for their thoughts on the new show. His parents surprisingly responded, “Yeah, no, yeah, good. Very good. Quite similar to the original show from…” Confused, Charlie asked how they thought that since he knew they were supposed to be watching his new show. They replied, “The bit with the backstory and your dad.”

It turned out that instead of “Daredevil: Born Again,” they had accidentally watched Ben Affleck’s old “Daredevil” movie! When Charlie told them to watch the right show and call him back, they called 20 minutes later saying, “This can’t be right!” Confused, Charlie asked what was wrong, and they said, “He doesn’t even look like you!” To which Charlie explained, “That is Ben Affleck!”

Finally, on their third try, Charlie’s parents managed to watch “Daredevil: Born Again” and were really happy with it.
