Ajit Doval: India Prepared to Respond to Pakistan if Tensions Rise

After Indian forces carried out airstrikes on terrorist sites in Pakistan and areas it controls, India’s National Security Advisor, Ajit Doval, reached out to important leaders from various countries on Wednesday. He told them that India does not want to make tensions worse but is ready to respond strongly if Pakistan does provoke them.

Ajit Doval spoke with leaders from the United States, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Japan. He explained that India’s recent missile strikes were targeted at places used by terrorists and were done carefully to avoid escalating the situation. He reassured that India aims for peace but will act firmly if needed.

The talks happened shortly after India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting nine locations. Doval also connected with senior officials from Russia, France, and other countries to keep them informed.

In the days ahead, he will continue to communicate with these leaders to maintain transparency and calm.
