Young Pharmacist Murdered Over Land Dispute in Uttar Pradesh

In a shocking event, a 24-year-old pharmacist named Satyendra Vishwakarma was reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh. This tragic incident happened late Sunday night and was linked to an argument over land.

According to the police, three men came to Satyendra’s clinic pretending they needed medicine. When he opened the door, they forced their way in and started attacking him with sticks and rods. Satyendra, who had just woken up, struggled to get away but the attackers chased him down. A local man, Vivek Chandra Nag, tried to help but was also attacked.

Satyendra was taken to the hospital, where he sadly died from his injuries. The attackers fled the scene when they heard noise coming from nearby.

Satyendra’s mother, Gangotri Devi, believes that four villagers — Santlal, Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, and Lal Bahadur — were behind the attack because of a land disagreement. She holds them responsible for her son’s death.

The police, led by Station House Officer (SHO) Sudhir Kumar Singh, have opened an investigation based on a report from Satyendra’s father, Ganga Prasad. They are questioning several people and checking security camera footage from the clinic to find the culprits. They promise that those responsible will be caught soon.

In another similar case in Uttar Pradesh’s Ballia, a 30-year-old man named Awadhesh was also killed over a fight regarding his goat straying onto a neighbor’s property. This incident happened earlier in the week when Awadhesh had a dispute with his neighbor. He was attacked during the argument and later died in the hospital.
