On Sunday, the Government Railway Police arrested two people, including a woman, for attacking another woman on a train near Palghar, Maharashtra. The victim also claimed she was molested during this attack.
According to police officer Dyaneshwar Ganore from the Vasai unit of the Government Railway Police (GRP), the incident happened in the general compartment of the Avantika Express train on Saturday.
When the train became very crowded, the victim had an argument with another female passenger. During the fight, this passenger used a blade to hurt the victim. Soon after, a man joined in to help the woman with the attack.
The police took quick action after receiving the complaint from the victim and arrested both the man and woman. They are now investigating the case further.
