Filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari is getting ready to delight viewers with his new movie, Ramayana. The film features popular actors Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash in the main roles, creating a lot of excitement among fans. Recently, a video surfaced showing Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis praising the film’s production quality.
During the Waves Summit 2025 in Mumbai, Fadnavis spoke to producer Namit Malhotra, saying, “We’ve been telling stories for thousands of years. Our art and music are ancient, and it’s great that you are mixing it with modern technology. When I visited your pavilion with the Prime Minister, I was really impressed with what you’re creating for Ramayana. This is how we should share our stories with the younger generation, and I believe you will make something amazing for the whole world.”
About Ramayana
Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has an impressive cast, with Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, and Yash as Ravana. The movie will be released in two parts: the first part will come out during Diwali 2026, and the second part will follow in 2027.
Producer Namit Malhotra shared that the goal of Ramayana is to showcase Indian storytelling on a global stage. He said, “I want to make India proud and introduce the world to our stories. I hope this film inspires people just like Hollywood movies like Oppenheimer or Forrest Gump do. I’m excited and feel lucky to be part of this project!”
