Veteran Bollywood actor Shehzad Khan, known for his work with superstar Salman Khan in movies like “Andaz Apna Apna” and “Bharat,” recently shared his thoughts about Salman’s kindness. In an interview, Shehzad defended Salman’s recent films, which haven’t done well at the box office, and explained why he believes this happened.
Shehzad, who sees Salman as an “old friend,” dismissed claims that Salman is losing his relevance. He said, “That’s just silly. Salman Khan is not going anywhere. Until the end of time, he will keep working. He is irreplaceable. His films will always find success, and the talk about him being done is ridiculous. Many people online criticize him for views, but we shouldn’t pay attention to that.”
He continued, “Sometimes Salman’s movies don’t succeed because he helps his friends in need. For example, there is an actor who had no work, and Salman offered him a chance in the movie ‘Sikandar.’ That’s just who he is—he helps others without expecting anything in return.”
As for Salman’s films, 2023 wasn’t great for him. His movie “Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan” earned only ₹184.6 crore, and “Tiger 3” did not perform well either, making ₹464 crore worldwide. His latest release, “Sikandar,” also didn’t do well, managing the same ₹184.6 crore.
However, Salman has new projects coming up! He announced he will work again with Sanjay Dutt on an action film, and there’s also “Kick 2” by Sajid Nadiadwala in the works.
