Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is likely to win a second term, according to early election results. If this happens, he will be the first Australian leader to win two terms in a row in 21 years. Opposition leader Peter Dutton accepted defeat on Saturday and congratulated Albanese on his win. “We did not perform well enough in this campaign, and I take full responsibility for that,” Dutton said. “I called the Prime Minister to congratulate him. This is a historic moment for the Labor Party, and we acknowledge it,” he added.
