A hospital in Rajgarh, Madhya Pradesh, became a wedding venue for Aditya Singh and Nandini Solanki on Wednesday. They wanted to get married on the special day of Akshay Tritiya, but Nandini fell sick just a week before their wedding.
Initially treated in her hometown of Kumbhraj, Nandini’s health got worse. She had to be moved to hospitals in Binaganj and then Biaora. Even though she started to feel better, the doctors advised her to stay in bed and not have a big wedding. With their next chance to marry being two years away, both families decided to hold the ceremony in the hospital.
The hospital staff helped out by decorating the outpatient department (OPD) area for the wedding. Aditya arrived with his friends and family, but they skipped the usual loud music to be considerate of other patients.
The wedding rituals began at 1 AM, with doctors and nurses making sure everything went smoothly. A very special moment happened when it was time for the “saat phere,” where Aditya carried Nandini around the fire in his arms. Family members showered them with flower petals, making the moment even more beautiful.
A video of this special wedding was shared online, and many people were touched by the love and strength shown during the ceremony. Doctors confirmed that Nandini was seriously ill just a week ago but was recovering well after the wedding.
