Today, May 1st, the first-ever World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit (WAVES 2025) is happening in Mumbai! This exciting event is organized by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India and will feature many famous stars from the Indian entertainment world.
WAVES 2025 Schedule for Day 1
The summit is being held at the Jio World Convention Centre from May 1 to May 4. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will open the event this morning, followed by panel discussions with some of the biggest names in the industry.

What is WAVES 2025?
WAVES 2025 is an event organized by the Indian Government to encourage talks, teamwork, and new ideas in the media and entertainment industry. The goal is to gather leaders and innovators to discuss opportunities and challenges while aiming to boost trade in India and shape the future of the sector.
On Day 2, more discussions with industry leaders will take place, while Days 3 and 4 will focus on private meetings and discussions among key stakeholders.
