Bade Miyan Chote Miyan: Akshay & Tiger’s Film Flops, Producer Speaks Out

Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan was expected to be the biggest hit of 2024, but it ended up being a major failure. The producer, Jackky Bhagnani, spoke out about the disappointing results and the issues surrounding the film.

Jackky shared how hard the failure hit his family, saying they had to mortgage their properties to make the film. He learned a big lesson and admitted that just having a big budget isn’t enough; the story must connect with the audience. “The public knows best,” he said, “If people didn’t like what we created, I need to understand why. We invested a lot, but the film made less than half of what we put in.”

The movie, which cost ₹350 crore to make, only earned ₹111.49 crore after its release. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, it featured other actors like Prithviraj Sukumaran, Alaya F, and Manushi Chillar. After the film came out, some crew members said they weren’t paid on time. Reports also said that Jackky’s production company had to sell its office in Mumbai to pay off a ₹250 crore debt due to these financial struggles.
