On Thursday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that India would strongly respond to terrorism and extremism. He spoke during the opening of a road and statue dedicated to Bodofa Upendranath Brahma. Shah stated that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, India has acted decisively against issues in the North East, Left-Wing Extremism, and terrorism in Kashmir.
He issued a serious warning to those behind recent attacks, saying, “If anyone thinks a cowardly attack is a big victory, they should remember this is the Narendra Modi government.” He emphasized, “No one will be spared,” making it clear that the government is determined to eliminate terrorism from every part of the country.
Talking about Kashmir, Shah reassured the people that the government stands strong with a policy of zero tolerance against terrorism. He said, “We have been fighting hard against terrorism in Kashmir since the 1990s.”
He also directly addressed terrorists, stating, “They should not think they have won by killing our citizens.” He warned, “This is not the end of the fight. Everyone will receive a strong response.”
