A married couple, Shashank (24) and Anshu (22), sadly died by suicide in a mango orchard in Leelapur. The police say they used a scarf and a sari to hang themselves from a tree. The couple had told their families they were going out to see a doctor on Tuesday.
Shashank, who lived in Ghaziabad, had come back home two days ago to be with his family after the death of his uncle. On Tuesday, he left with his wife, Anshu, saying they needed medicine. Later, their bodies were found hanging from a tree in an orchard owned by a man named Anurag.
The police reported that the couple had been married for two years. They are investigating the case further to find out more details.
