Recently, there was more fighting at the border between India and Pakistan. The Indian Army reported that the Pakistan Army started shooting at them during the night of April 29-30. This shooting happened in several places in Jammu & Kashmir, specifically in Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor.
But the conflict didn’t stop there. More fighting was noted in Baramulla and Kupwara districts, as well as at the Pargwal Sector, which is the International Border area. The Indian Army responded quickly to defend themselves.
This increase in violence comes after a serious attack in Pahalgam on April 22, where 26 people, mostly tourists, lost their lives. As a result, the Indian government is on high alert, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told the military to respond strongly. He wants them to target anyone involved in the attack, and he believes in their ability to handle the situation.
Officials suggest that the Pakistan military’s actions might be an attempt to distract attention from their own troubles or to make the situation worse. Currently, tensions are high, and the Indian Army is prepared for any situation at both the Line of Control and the International Border.
