In a surprising event, a baby snake fell from the ceiling while a woman in Virginia was having a margarita at a restaurant. Carletta Andrews was at Patron Mexican Restaurant and Cantina in Sandston on April 16, enjoying her drink after finishing her meal. Suddenly, she felt something hit her forehead and thought, “What was that?” When she turned around, she saw a snake swimming in her drink!
The snake was moving and even wrapped around her straw. Carletta was scared. The restaurant staff tried to catch the snake by getting it to wrap around a stick, but a brave customer eventually grabbed it by hand. Carletta kept asking them not to let the snake go into her purse, saying, “I left shaking; I was traumatized.”
After the snake incident, the restaurant offered to move Carletta and her husband to a different table, but she just wanted to leave as soon as possible. She shared her experience on social media, saying it was a big shock.
The restaurant explained that the snake might have come in through an air conditioning unit. Carletta is now worried about where the mother snake could be, saying, “If that was the baby, I fear… is the mom there?” Last December, the restaurant had been told to fix problems like mold and damaged tiles, but they fixed everything quickly.
