In New Delhi, stocks for companies like Country Condos, Paradeep Phosphates, Synergy Green Industries, Manorama Industries, and Reliance Naval & Engineering reached new 52-week highs at 11:26 AM (IST) on the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The NSE Nifty index increased by 189.86 points, reaching 24,229.2. This gain was driven by strong buying interest in popular blue-chip stocks.
On the other side, some companies like CMI Ltd, GI Engineering, Eros Media, Varanium Cloud, and Gensol Engineering saw their stocks reach new 52-week lows. Out of the 50 shares in the Nifty 50 index, 33 went up, while 17 went down. Notable winners included Reliance Industries (RIL), Bharat Electronics (BEL), Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, and JSW Steel. Conversely, stocks for Shriram Finance, HCL Technologies, Eternal, Bajaj Finance, and Tata Consumer Products fell.
The BSE Sensex index was also up, gaining 678.83 points to stand at 79,891.36 at the same time. Traders were actively buying in sectors like General, IT Services, Auto, and Power, while they were selling in the Learning & Education, Trading, Construction, Aquaculture, and IT Software sectors.
