New Delhi: On Monday, many stocks on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) jumped more than 10% as the overall market did well. Key stocks that saw big gains included Premier Express, which rose by 13.24%, followed by Oriental Trimex (12.67%), Vishal Fabrics (11.05%), Shri Keshav Cement (10.69%), Barbeque-Nation Hospitality (10.58%), and RBL Bank (10.25%).
The BSE Sensex, which tracks 30 large companies, went up by 1005.84 points, reaching a total of 80218.37. Meanwhile, the Nifty index, which includes 50 stocks, also rose by 289.16 points to close at 24328.5. Out of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 39 went up in value, while 11 went down.
In other news, several stocks like Everest Organics, Kachchh Minerals, Country Condos, Manorama Industries, and Paradeep Phosphates reached new 52-week highs, which means they’re at their best price in a year. On the contrary, shares of Supra Pacific Management, Gensol Engineering, Nutricircle, IGC Industries, and Shri Niwas Leasing hit their new 52-week lows, indicating they are at their lowest price in a year.
