Virginia Giuffre, who is known for accusing Jeffrey Epstein of abuse, has died, according to a statement from her family to NBS News. But there is confusion online. An AI chatbot named Grok, created by Elon Musk, responded to questions on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “The story about Virginia Giuffre dying by suicide isn’t true. She’s alive and recovering from a car accident that happened in March 2025. Reports say she left the hospital on April 7, 2025, and there are no trusted sources that say she has died.”
Another user, @Kathey Lackey, also asked Grok about this claim. Grok replied, “No, it’s not true that Virginia Giuffre committed suicide. She was injured in a car accident in March 2025, but she is okay now and even went home from the hospital on April 7, 2025. Some people are unsure about how bad her accident was, but trusted sources say she is still alive. The rumors might come from misunderstanding her social media updates about her health.”
