CM Stalin Encourages Civil Service Success in Tamil Nadu!

In Chennai, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M K Stalin, spoke on Saturday to congratulate candidates who passed the civil service exam. He encouraged them to work hard and win the trust of the people. “Serve with honesty and strength, and help those in need,” he said. Many candidates who passed, 50 out of 57, trained through the government’s program called ‘Naan Mudhalvan Tittam’, which aims to help students succeed in their studies. Among these 50, 18 were top performers.

Stalin expressed pride in Tamil Nadu’s unique identity, noting that IAS and IPS officers from the state are well respected. He urged the new officers to inspire others to join civil service. “Now that you are trained to help society, use your skills for development. Be role models!” he said.

Stalin launched ‘Naan Mudhalvan Tittam’ on his birthday in 2022, to improve education in the state. He was happy with the program’s success. This initiative helps students achieve their dreams and includes other programs like a breakfast scheme for school children and various other initiatives for students’ future development.

The ‘Naan Mudhalvan Tittam’ provides financial assistance of ₹7,500 for 10 months to 1,000 students, along with ₹25,000 to those who pass the preliminary exam and continue to prepare for the main one. Also present at the event were Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Human Resources Minister N Kayalvizhi Selvaraj, Chief Secretary N Muruganandam, and other officials.
