SRH Dominates CSK with Harshal Patel’s Four Wickets in IPL Showdown

In a crucial IPL match in Chennai, Harshal Patel took four wickets as the Sunrisers Hyderabad bowled out the Chennai Super Kings for just 154 runs. Both teams needed a win, and SRH’s bowlers did an excellent job to keep CSK’s score low on their home ground.

Harshal used clever changes in his bowling speed, and he was well supported by captain Pat Cummins, the unique spinner Kamindu Mendis, and experienced players Mohammed Shami and Jaydev Unadkat. Dewald Brevis was the top scorer for CSK, while Deepak Hooda hit some big shots near the end to push CSK past 150 runs.

CSK started poorly, losing Shaik Rasheed on the very first ball to Shami, who had him caught at slip. Young Ayush Mhatre began aggressively, hitting boundaries against Shami, Cummins, and Unadkat. Sam Curran soon fell too, caught off a Harshal delivery.

Things got worse for CSK when Mhatre, who was doing well, got out to Cummins. After six overs, CSK was only 50 for 3. In the seventh over, Patel dropped an easy catch off Zeeshan Ansari, giving Ravindra Jadeja another chance. Jadeja quickly hit a big six but then got out to Mendis soon after.

At the halfway mark, CSK was at 76 for 4. However, Shivam Dube and Brevis attacked the bowlers with powerful hits. Dube hit Shami for two lovely boundaries while Brevis scored three sixes off Mendis in the next over.

Brevis was in great form, smashing another six off Patel but was caught by Mendis just after. CSK lost wickets quickly after that, with Dube getting out to Unadkat. In his 400th T20 match, Dhoni could not make an impact either, getting caught off a Patel delivery.

In the end, Hooda tried hard to score runs and managed to take CSK past 150.
