Rajinikanth, the famous Indian movie star, is busy filming his new movie, “Jailer 2”. On Friday, he surprised his fans by stopping at a local temple in the Anaikatti hills near Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, while heading to his shoot. He offered his prayers and took a moment to meet some lucky fans there.
In videos shared by fans on X (formerly Twitter), you can see Rajinikanth getting out of his car and walking to the Matheswaran Sivan Temple. He is currently traveling between Anaikatti and Mangarai for filming. Dressed in white, he was guided by a priest as he prayed, and the priest even put a teeka (a colorful mark) on his forehead. The priest also checked on how Rajinikanth was feeling.
Many fans were excited to see their favorite star at the temple, and he happily posed for pictures with them, greeting them with folded hands.
Rajinikanth’s recent movies include “Lal Salaam” and “Vettaiyan”. Soon, he will star in “Coolie” and “Jailer 2” as well. “Jailer 2” is an action-comedy that continues the story from the hit movie “Jailer” released in 2023. In the first film, he played the character Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, who comes out of retirement to protect his family when his son goes missing during a smuggling investigation. Fans are excited to see how the story continues in “Jailer 2”!
