PM Modi Addresses Terrorism in English to Reach Global Audience

Prime Minister Narendra Modi usually talks in Hindi at events, but he switched to English during a speech in Madhubani, Bihar, last Thursday to make sure his message about terrorism reached everyone clearly. He talked about a recent attack in Pahalgam where 26 Indian citizens lost their lives.

In his speech, Modi promised that India would find and punish every terrorist and those who support them. He said, “We will chase them to the ends of the Earth.” This was his first public comment after the tragic event on April 22.

Modi emphasized that terrorism will not break India’s spirit, and those responsible for it will face justice. He thanked global leaders who supported India during this tough time, saying, “Everyone who believes in humanity is with us.”

By using English at this important moment, Modi wanted the world to fully understand India’s strong stance against terrorism. Although he usually speaks Hindi, he often includes English or local languages in his speeches to connect with different audiences. This approach helps him make his message stronger. By choosing English for a critical part of the speech, he made sure that India’s voice was heard loud and clear around the globe.
