Leaders Stand Together After Pahalgam Terror Attack: Calls for Justice

After the terrible Pahalgam terrorist attack, leaders from different political parties met with the central government to discuss what happened. Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition, said that everyone at the meeting condemned the attack and that the opposition fully supports the government’s actions. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge also said all parties are united in condemning the attack and want to keep peace in Jammu and Kashmir.

Union ministers like Amit Shah, JP Nadda, and Kiren Rijiju were present at the meeting, which was led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. TMC MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay mentioned that they talked about security problems that led to this attack. He assured that all political parties stand behind the government in these tough times.

AAP MP Sanjay Singh expressed that the nation is upset and wants a strong response against terrorists. He mentioned that the attackers should be punished, and they need to look into why security wasn’t enough to prevent the attack.

The Pahalgam attack, which happened on Tuesday, resulted in the deaths of 26 people, mostly tourists. Following this, India took serious steps against Pakistan, such as pausing the Indus Waters Treaty and revoking visas for Pakistani nationals, asking them to leave the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a strong message that India will go after every terrorist and their supporters.
