Kanye West Fights for Custody of His Children Amid Tensions

A petition on Change.org is asking for Kanye West to be allowed to see his four children. This is happening during a tough time between him and his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, over who gets to spend time with the kids. Kanye claims that Kim is stopping him from seeing North, 11, Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5. After their divorce in 2022, Kim got primary custody of the kids and has reportedly limited Kanye’s visits.

The petition says, “Kanye has the right to be part of his children’s lives as their father.” It goes on to say that when a dad isn’t around, it makes it harder for him to protect his kids. Kanye feels he should have a say in what happens in their lives because he cares about them.

In a series of recent posts on social media, Kanye expressed his need to see his kids regularly. “I don’t just want to see my kids. I want to be a dad to them. I’m a good father,” he stated. He shared an example about a time when they visited Kylie Jenner’s house after Kobe Bryant’s death, noting some inappropriate magazines that were easily accessible to children. He worries about the influences around his kids and wants to be there to guide them.

Kanye mentioned that he has not seen Saint at all this year and feels that many people are watching him struggle to be a part of his children’s lives. “I feel like I’ve lost my kids and everyone is just watching,” he said.
