On April 11, at 9:35 p.m., a flight (Air India Flight 2412) was set to leave for Bengaluru. Sam Thomas, a former pilot who worked with the airline for 20 years, was on his way to Delhi’s T3 airport terminal after a meeting. Just as he was heading to the airport, a strong dust storm swept through the city. Luckily, it seemed like the storm was calming down.
