Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Saudi Arabia for two days, and it’s his third trip there. His plane was protected by F15 fighter jets from the Royal Saudi Air Force when he arrived in Jeddah. This visit is important because PM Modi will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to lead a meeting about the India-Saudi Arabia Strategic Partnership Council.
PM Modi landed in Saudi Arabia on April 22 and will be there until April 23. Since 2014, he has worked hard to improve India’s relationship with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries. This trip marks his 15th visit to the Gulf region.
Before leaving, PM Modi said he values India’s long-standing friendship with Saudi Arabia, which has grown stronger in recent years. Together, both countries are focused on areas like defense, trade, investment, energy, and people-to-people connections. They share a commitment to promote peace, prosperity, security, and stability in the region.
