Nehra’s Funny Antics Before Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals IPL Showdown!

Gujarat Titans’ head coach Ashish Nehra is known for his funny jokes and light-hearted fun with teammates. Even though he doesn’t use social media, his humor keeps him popular online. Before a match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Nehra was seen joking around with his old friends, Munaf Patel and Hemang Badani, who now work with the DC team.

While chatting with Badani and Munaf, Nehra spotted DC’s wicketkeeper Abishek Porel practicing in the nets. In true Nehra style, he called out to Porel, saying, “Is this Abishek Porel? Come out, this is your last ball!” This unexpected shout made everyone laugh, especially DC captain Axar Patel, Badani, and Munaf. Nehra’s fun banter turned the practice session into a hilarious moment.

DC even shared a video of the funny moment before their match against GT. At one point in the video, Nehra joked that even though they were rivals in the IPL, he and Munaf were still on the same team. Both played important roles in India’s World Cup win in 2011.

In terms of the game, Delhi Capitals are doing well, sitting at the top of the table with 10 points from six games, while Gujarat Titans are close behind with eight points from the same number of matches. The DC team feels confident after their recent Super Over win against Rajasthan Royals, where Mitchell Starc played a key role.

The upcoming match will feature GT’s strong batting lineup with players like captain Shubman Gill and consistent scorer Sai Sudharsan. They have been crucial in scoring runs, with at least one of them getting a half-century in every match. However, GT’s middle order needs to step up; they struggled in a recent loss to Lucknow Super Giants. If Delhi can target GT’s top order early, it could change the game in their favor.
