Jaat’ Box Office Success: ₹71.25 Crore and Rising!

The action-packed film “Jaat,” starring the famous Sunny Deol, hit theaters on April 10. According to Niftystat, in just six days, it has made a spectacular ₹71.25 crore worldwide!

In India, “Jaat” earned ₹52.50 crore net (which is the money after ticket sales) and ₹63.15 crore gross (total earnings). It also made about ₹8.10 crore in other countries. On Tuesday, the movie did well even on a weekday, bringing in ₹6 crore despite a small decrease in ticket sales.

As a result, “Jaat” is now one of the top Hindi films of 2025! It has even surpassed Shahid Kapoor’s film “Deva,” which earned ₹55.8 crore in total. However, “Jaat” still has to compete with Akshay Kumar’s “Sky Force,” which made ₹149 crore, and Salman Khan’s “Sikandar,” which reached ₹183 crore within 15 days. Vicky Kaushal’s movie “Chhaava” is doing even better, with more than ₹800 crore!

Yet, the film isn’t without its problems. A scene featuring Randeep Hooda’s character, who threatens people in a church, has upset members of the Christian community. Even though the filmmakers blurred out any religious symbols, protests have started, demanding a ban on the film and targeting Randeep Hooda for his actions in the scene.

“Jaat” follows the story of a mysterious man, played by Sunny Deol, who helps a small village in Andhra Pradesh from the bad guy Ranatunga. The movie also features a talented cast, including Regena Cassandrra, Saiyami Kher, Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishnan, Vineet Kumar Singh, Prashant Bajaj, Zarina Wahab, P Ravi Shankar, and Babloo Prithiveeraj.
