On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Ram Navami, a special day honoring Lord Ram. He expressed his wishes on social media, hoping Lord Ram’s blessings guide everyone in their lives. Later in the day, he traveled to Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, to offer prayers at the famous Ramanathaswamy temple.
In Rameswaram, Modi planned to do many things. First, he would unveil the new Pamban Rail Bridge, which is India’s first sea bridge that can lift vertically. He also intended to launch a new train and a ship from this bridge while watching how it works.
After this at around 12:45 PM, Modi would perform a special ceremony at the Ramanathaswamy temple. Finally, at about 1:30 PM, he would lay the foundation stone for several rail and road projects worth over Rs 8,300 crore in Tamil Nadu. He would also speak to the crowd there about these exciting developments.
