There’s a lot of buzz about Jr NTR’s upcoming movies. Fans have been guessing if he’d team up with the director of “Jailer,” Nelson Dilipkumar. Jr NTR has hinted that this collaboration is happening! Naga Vamsi will produce the film. Just a few weeks ago, Nelson announced that “Jailer 2” is officially being made.
At a party for his brother-in-law Nithin’s movie, Jr NTR said, “If I say too much about Vamsi, he might get bad luck. Good things have been happening for him. We’ll start something soon, and he’ll tell you all about it.” This movie is expected to be a unique action film and will begin filming in the second half of 2026.
Jr NTR also talked about “Devara 2,” clearing up any doubts. He said he will start working on that film after his current project with Prashanth Neel, whose last film “Salaar” was a big hit. “Devara: Part 1” featured Jr NTR in two roles and included stars like Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, and Saif Ali Khan.
Besides these projects, Jr NTR will star in “War 2,” directed by Ayan Mukerji, where he might play a villain against Hrithik Roshan. Kiara Advani will also have an important part in this movie, which is set to come out on August 14.
Jr NTR is also busy filming a movie with Prashanth Neel that will hit theaters on January 9, 2026, around Pongal. Fans might get to see the title and first look on May 20.
As for director Nelson Dilipkumar, he is focused on filming “Jailer 2,” with Rajinikanth returning as his character, Muthuvel Pandian. The filming for Jailer 2 began three weeks ago. Nelson also has a new project lined up with actor Dhanush.
