The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Thursday that about 105,322 SUVs are being recalled because of potential problems with their seat belts. This recall affects Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator models from 2018 to 2020.
The issue is that the seat belt pretensioners, which help keep passengers secure, may accidentally lock. This means the seat belt won’t move freely, making it hard to pull in or let out. If you have one of these vehicles, don’t worry! The dealers will check the seat belt parts for you and replace any faulty ones at no cost.
