The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for India’s international home cricket season in 2025. This exciting season will feature teams from West Indies and South Africa. It will kick off on October 2, with Guwahati getting ready to host its first-ever Test match!
Here’s what to expect:
– First, India will play two Test matches against the West Indies:
– The first Test is in Ahmedabad from October 2-6.
– The second Test will be in Kolkata from October 10-14.
– After that, South Africa will tour India for a series of matches:
– They will start with a Test match in New Delhi from November 14-18.
– The second Test will be a special event in Guwahati from November 22-26.
– Next, there will be three One Day Internationals (ODIs):
– The first ODI will be in Ranchi on November 30.
– The second ODI will take place in Raipur on December 3.
– The third ODI will happen in Visakhapatnam on December 6.
– Finally, a five-match T20 International series will wrap up the season:
– The first T20I is in Cuttack on December 9.
– The second T20I will be held in New Chandigarh on December 11.
– The third T20I is set for Dharamsala on December 14.
– The fourth T20I will take place in Lucknow on December 17.
– The last T20I is in Ahmedabad on December 19.
