Hero Motocorp is gaining attention after it announced strong sales figures for March 2025. The company sold 549,604 motorcycles this March, which is 12% more than in March of last year. For the entire financial year (April 2024 to March 2025), Hero sold almost 5.9 million units!
In addition, Hero set a record for its global dispatches, reaching 39,518 units—a 27% increase compared to March 2024. The company’s electric scooter brand, VIDA, also did really well, with 7,787 scooters sold, showing that more people are interested in electric vehicles.
Hero Motocorp is also making waves in the electric vehicle market, with sales up by 200% compared to last year. They have a growing presence in international markets, reporting a 40% increase in global sales.
The company sold over 11,000 units of the Harley-Davidson X440 in FY’25, proving its popularity in the premium motorcycle market.
Yearly Highlights:
– Domestic Sales: In India, Hero sold 5,611,758 bikes in FY’25, up from the previous year.
– International Sales: Total exports reached 287,429 units, a big 43% rise from last year.
– Electric Scooters: VIDA delivered over 58,000 electric scooters and has built a fast-charging network with more than 3,600 charging points in over 250 cities across India.
– Premium Dealerships: Hero has opened over 80 modern dealerships for premium products and expanded its network to 930 outlets.
Hero Motocorp shares rose 0.5% to Rs 3,782.10 on the NSE on Wednesday.
