Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are on a winning streak and will try to make it three in a row when they face the 2022 champions, Gujarat Titans, at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. RCB is currently at the top of the league after winning their first two matches, playing great cricket with a strong team.
Their bowling attack is looking good with Josh Hazlewood, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Yash Dayal, while spinners Krunal Pandya, Suyash Sharma, and Liam Livingstone are ready to do their part. The pressure will be on their famous batting lineup to perform well, especially with the short boundaries in their home ground.
Virat Kohli didn’t play his best in the last game against Chennai, but fans expect him to bounce back quickly at home. Phil Salt and captain Rajat Patidar are in great form and are big assets for RCB. However, Liam Livingstone might feel some pressure because of his recent performance.
On the other side, Gujarat Titans just got their first win against the Mumbai Indians. Sai Sudharsan has been performing well for them, and Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler have also shown promise. Their fast bowlers, including Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada, and Prasidh Krishna, played an excellent match against Mumbai.
It will be interesting to see if they keep Sherfane Rutherford in the team or let Glenn Phillips make his debut.
