Forbes just released its 2025 World’s Billionaires List, and this year there are 3,028 billionaires! That’s 247 more than last year. Together, they have a mind-blowing total of $16.1 trillion, which is $2 trillion more than in 2024.

The United States leads the world with the most billionaires, having 902, followed by China with 516 and India with 205.

Top Billionaires from India: Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani
India’s richest person is still Mukesh Ambani, who runs Reliance Industries. He ranks 18th globally, with a huge fortune of $92.5 billion. Right behind him is Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, who is in 28th place with $56.3 billion. Other notable Asians include Zhang Yiming from TikTok (23rd, $65.5 billion) and Zhong Shanshan from Nongfu Spring (26th, $57.7 billion).

6. Warren Buffett ($154 billion) – Berkshire Hathaway (USA)
7. Larry Page ($144 billion) – Google (USA)
8. Sergey Brin ($138 billion) – Google (USA)

Most of the top billionaires are from the United States, with only two others from France and Spain.

Alice Walton: The Richest Woman in the World
Alice Walton, who is part of the Walmart family, remains the richest woman with a fortune of $101 billion, putting her in 15th place overall. Her brothers, Rob and Jim Walton, are also billionaires, holding the 11th and 12th spots.

Only six women made it into the top 50 billionaires, including:

– Savitri Jindal & family ($35.5 billion) – Jindal Industries (48th place)

Once the world’s richest man, Bill Gates is now in 13th place with $108 billion.
