New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India said on Tuesday that it would think about a request made by Ranveer Allahbadia, a famous YouTuber and entrepreneur, who wants to get his passport back. The court mentioned it would talk about this after two weeks because there is an ongoing investigation related to his case.
Ranveer asked the Supreme Court to change a rule that forced him to give his passport to the authorities. His lawyers argued that this rule was hurting his job and work opportunities because he has to travel a lot for his business.
In response to this, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the court that the investigation into Ranveer’s case should finish within two weeks. He also said that the authorities are working hard to resolve this issue.
The Supreme Court agreed with this information and stated that they would look at Ranveer’s request to get his passport back after two weeks. They are hopeful that the investigation will be done by then.
This case is getting a lot of attention from the public because Ranveer Allahbadia is a well-known figure in the online world, especially for his YouTube channels and podcasts, where he talks about business, self-improvement, and current events.
